Before pickup

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Prices on each car's page are before tax, and the offer adds the tax. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
