Car hire: grey 2017 Toyota Corolla CE in Farmbrook

Car hire: the 2017 Toyota Corolla CE

If a rental car is the plan, the 2017 Toyota Corolla CE is worth a look; here is why. Every car has its own page with its rates and calendar. You choose the car; a person confirms it and sends the price.

Farmbrook and the Corolla

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Farmbrook. Farmbrook is about 509 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to.

The pages for Hannover, Crestwood Village and Mountain Village cover the areas next door.

The figures, translated

Its powertrain is the 1.8L 4-cylinder with front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

The EPA rates it at 7.6 L/100 km combined, so a 300 km weekend uses about 23 litres. That works out to about $11.78 per 100 km at our price setting.

Space, size and seats

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. Its 368 litres of luggage space fit about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who rents the Corolla

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Rent this car

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

What to bring

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

What to expect when you book

You ask for the car you want for the dates you need. The request itself is free. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Need it longer than 365 days? Renew with a new agreement when the booking ends. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.
