The Saab: Car inspection
Searching for car inspection for the Saab? CarmaCars does not do this work itself; we arrange it with a trusted shop. A good inspection covers brakes, tires, suspension, leaks and rust.
Your car, your notes
Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. A photo of the dashboard warning light helps the shop prepare.
Who does what
Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. Your request goes to a person, who arranges a trusted shop or gives you its name.
Keep moving meanwhile
Keep the rental as long as the repair takes. A rental keeps your week on track during the repair. The car can come to your door in the Toronto area, or you pick it up at no charge.
What to ask
Ask what warranty the shop gives on its parts and labour. Ask how long the job should take, so you know how long to rent for. Ask whether the shop will check anything related while the car is there.
Small things that help
Top up the washer fluid with a winter mix in the cold months. Wash the underside of the car in winter to clear road salt. Have the battery tested before winter if it is more than a few years old.
Next step
Start with a short request; a person replies within one business day.
Request car inspection
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
