Car inspection: how we help
CarmaCars does not do mechanical work, but for an inspection on the SRT we arrange a trusted shop. A good inspection covers brakes, tires, suspension, leaks and rust.
Details the shop needs
Mention the trim and engine in your request; parts differ between them. Note the mileage on the odometer when you send the request. Say whether the car is drivable; it changes how it gets to the shop.
Who does what
We follow up until the shop has the car booked in. Send the car's details and what it needs; we take it from there. We can deliver a rental to you while your car is at the shop.
Keep moving meanwhile
The rental is priced like any other on our site. Rent by the day while the shop has your car. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
Questions to ask the shop
Keep the invoice; it is part of the car's service history. Ask the shop to call you before doing anything not on the estimate. Ask whether the parts are new, rebuilt or used.
Good habits for your car
Do not ignore a warning light; an early check often costs less than a late repair. Follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, by time or distance. Keep the fuel tank above a quarter in winter.
Let us know
Start with the car, the job and your location.
Request car inspection
Tell us when suits you. A person replies within one business day and arranges it with a trusted shop or recommends one; the shop sets its own price and time.
