The numbers in plain words

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, paired with a 7-speed automatic, drives it. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Its combined rating is 8.3 L/100 km, which means roughly 25 litres for 300 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.87 at our price setting.

Good uses for the A4

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

Space and size

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. The EPA lists 340 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Our A4 cars

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.

What to have ready

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.

Request, offer, keys

You request the car online with your dates, and you pay nothing to send it. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. Short trips and long stays use the same request; the rate follows the length. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
