The figures, translated

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid; drive: all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

At 8.3 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 25 litres of fuel. Expect about $12.87 per 100 km at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

What to expect from the A4

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. The EPA measures its luggage space at 340 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

In our fleet

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.

Who qualifies

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Before the keys change hands, one of three options must be in place for the car: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

What happens when you ask for a car

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. You pay only once you approve the offer.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

When you know your dates

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
