A note on Java

If you are close to Java, you may also be near Tara Village, South Side and Howe.

Engine and fuel

Its 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo drives through an 8-speed automatic. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

At 11.4 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 34 litres of fuel. Driving 300 km costs roughly $59.85 at our price setting.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Inside and out

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

Getting one from us

There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person.

Driver requirements

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Booking made plain

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

When you know your dates

A request takes a few minutes and puts a real offer in front of you.
