What the specs mean

Its 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo drives through a 9-speed automatic. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

Expect about 27 litres for every 300 km, going by its 9.1 L/100 km combined rating. In energy, every 100 km costs about $14.11 at our price setting.

Good uses for the Cherokee

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Practical details

Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.

Rent this car

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Renting: the basics

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

Booking, step by step

Booking is by request, never instant. You send the car and the dates, and a person at CarmaCars reviews it. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

Every car has its own daily, weekend, weekly and monthly rate. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
