Engine and fuel

It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo and front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

The combined figure, 7.8 L/100 km, means roughly 23 litres for 300 km. Driving 300 km costs roughly $40.95 at our price setting.

Size and space

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. With 368 litres of luggage space by the EPA's measure, it takes about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who it is for

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Can I rent it?

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

Booking made plain

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. The reply is an offer you can read in full before you decide anything. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

What to bring

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held about 1 hour ahead of pickup and released after the return. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.
