A note on Knobs

Knobs is about 692 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Knobs.

Close by are Johnson Crossroads, Elmhurst and Union, each with its own page.

Under the hood

Its powertrain is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo with front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

It is rated at 7.9 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 24 litres. Driving 300 km costs roughly $41.49 at our price setting.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Space and size

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. The length is 4.76 m. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Its 368 litre trunk is enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Our A4 cars

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Getting the car booked

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. You have 24 hours to approve an offer, and payment comes with your approval.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Before you rent

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more are the starting point. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We hold the deposit shortly before pickup and release it after the return. Licence and identity checks happen before the booking is confirmed.
