The A4 and Java

We have no location in Java; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 770 km away. If you need it in Java itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Close by are Lucks, Ebenezer and Shockoe, each with its own page.

What the figures tell you

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, paired with a 7-speed automatic, drives it. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

At 8.3 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 25 litres of fuel. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $38.61 at our price setting.

Good uses for the A4

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Living with the A4

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. In plain terms, its 340 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

Getting the car booked

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. Back comes an offer you can read at your own pace, with every charge on it. If it suits you, approve it and pay. Until then, nothing is charged.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. Book one day, one week, or up to 365 days at once. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.

What we ask of drivers

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
