The 2021 Audi A4 Technik: Car service

Renting the 2021 Audi A4 Technik as a car with a driver works like any rental with us: a free request, an offer, then the keys. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.

What the figures tell you

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, paired with a 7-speed automatic, drives it. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Expect about 25 litres for every 300 km, going by its 8.3 L/100 km combined rating. That works out to about $12.87 per 100 km at our price setting.

Size and space

As a compact car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. Its 340 litre trunk is enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Renting this car

If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Your offer shows any delivery fee before you pay.

Licence, age and card

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Bring the card you paid with and your original licence to the handover.

You need one of three things in place for damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your own policy, a credit card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

What to expect when you book

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Next step

If something here is unclear, ask in your request; we reply in plain words.
