What the figures tell you

Its powertrain is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Its combined rating is 8.3 L/100 km, which means roughly 25 litres for 300 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.87 at our price setting.

Good uses for the A4

It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one. It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while.

The A4 in everyday use

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. At 340 litres, the trunk fits about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Rent it from us

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.

Rules for renters

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. There is no maximum age. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee each day. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

How it works

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Give us 2 hours or more before the pickup and we can usually make it work.

Your move

Questions, dates or both: put them in a request and we answer.
