The figures, translated

It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Expect about 25 litres for every 300 km, going by its 8.3 L/100 km combined rating. At our price setting, driving 100 km costs about $12.87, and a 300 km weekend about $38.61.

Practical details

Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. The trunk holds 340 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

In our fleet

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.

The steps

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. Rent for a day, a week or up to 365 days in one booking. At least 2 hours must separate the request from the pickup.

Who qualifies

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.

Your move

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
