What we check
You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.
The CarmaCars Protection Plan is one of three options for damage to the car; the others are OPCF 27 on your policy or a card with rental car benefits. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
