Can you rent one?

Who qualifies

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car shows its deposit, and we take it about 1 hour before pickup. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

From request to keys

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.
