Driver basics

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Each driver named on the booking signs the rental agreement.

Getting the car booked

The process opens with a request from you, which costs nothing and binds you to nothing. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
