Driver basics

Ontario G2 or G licences are accepted, for drivers 18 and older. If any driver is under 26, a young driver fee is added for each day. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

From request to keys

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
