Car service: 2016 Honda Civic LX in Yameri

Car service and the 2016 Honda Civic LX

Here is the 2016 Honda Civic LX from the angle of someone searching for car service. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.

Yameri and the Civic

Yameri is about 3,364 km from our Toronto location, beyond the area we deliver to. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Yameri.

Also close to Yameri: San Francisco el Ocatal, San Francisco el Ocotal and Río Tiltepec.

Under the hood

It uses the 1.5L 4-cylinder turbo and front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

It is rated at 6.7 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 20 litres. Driving 300 km costs roughly $31.17 at our price setting.

The Civic in everyday use

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. The trunk holds 425 litres by the EPA's count: a family's bags for a long weekend.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Our Civic cars

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Driver requirements

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

How a booking comes together

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. An offer is valid for 24 hours, and you pay only when you approve it.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. Stay as long as you need: up to 365 days a booking, then renew. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

Next step

The next step is yours: send a request whenever you are ready.
