Car service and the 2002 Lexus IS
This 2002 Lexus IS page is written for a car with a driver: the car first, then renting it from us. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.
Specs, explained
Under the hood: the 3.0L 6-cylinder and rear-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
It is rated 12.4 L/100 km combined: about 37 litres every 300 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $21.70 at our price setting.
Who rents the IS
It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.
Practical details
Its car body is low and settled, with a separate trunk. The trunk holds 623 litres by the EPA's count: bulky luggage, a stroller or sports gear.
Getting one from us
There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
What to expect when you book
To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. When you approve the offer and pay, the car is booked for you.
Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. A request can be for today, as long as the pickup is at least 2 hours away.
Driver basics
Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.
Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
