Car service: the 2012 Lexus IS
For a car with a driver, the 2012 Lexus IS could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.
Under the hood
The 2.5L 6-cylinder, paired with a 6-speed automatic, drives it. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Rear-wheel drive gives balanced handling; in winter, the tires make the biggest difference.
By the EPA's combined rating of 9.7 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 29 litres. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $16.97 at our price setting.
Is it right for your trip?
It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.
Size and space
As a small car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. In plain terms, its 311 litres of luggage space hold about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.
Renting it
Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Delivery covers the Toronto area, priced by distance in your offer; pickup from us is free.
What to expect when you book
A booking with us starts as a request that you send without paying. We check the calendar and your details, then send you an offer with the total. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.
The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
Checking your details
Drivers 18 and older can rent with a valid Ontario G2 or G licence. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.
Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit amount depends on the car and is shown on its page. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
