Car service and the 2009 MINI Cooper
For a car with a driver, the 2009 MINI Cooper could fit; below, the figures and how booking works. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.
Reading the spec sheet
The 1.6L 4-cylinder, paired with a 6-speed manual, drives it. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.
For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 22 litres, from its 7.4 L/100 km rating. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $38.85 at our price setting.
Size and space
As a sports car, it puts the driving first and the luggage second. For luggage, 170 litres means about a large suitcase and a couple of soft bags.
Good uses for the Cooper
It suits a summer weekend or a special occasion more than a move. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

What happens when you ask for a car
Booking starts online: pick the car, set the times, and send the request at no cost. A person checks the request and sends you an offer with the full price. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.
A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. The shortest notice we accept before a pickup is 2 hours.
Checking your details
Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.
Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit comes about 1 hour before you get the car, not at booking. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
Make a request
Ask for the car, read the offer, approve it if it suits you.
