The figures, translated

It uses the 2.5L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

It is rated 7.6 L/100 km combined: about 23 litres every 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $117.80 at our price setting.

Room inside

As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Luggage space is 425 litres, enough for a family's bags for a long weekend.

Good uses for the Altima

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

What you need to rent

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

How renting with us works

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
