Renting for Java

If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Java. Java is about 1,639 km from Toronto, outside our delivery area.

Close by are Selby, Lowry and Sitka, each with its own page.

The numbers in plain words

It uses the 2.0L 4-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. Front-wheel drive is the usual layout for cars this size, predictable in the rain and the snow.

A combined rating of 7.1 L/100 km works out to about 21 litres per 300 km. In money, 1,000 km costs about $110.10 at our price setting.

Practical details

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. The trunk holds 396 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who rents the Sentra

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

In our fleet

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now.

Who can rent

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

Booking in plain terms

To book, you request the car for your dates. There is no charge to send it and no obligation. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. You pay only once you approve the offer.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. A week or more is priced at the weekly rate, from 7 days. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.

When you know your dates

Look through the cars, choose one, and send a request when it suits you.
