What you need to rent

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.

The booking steps

Every rental begins with a request from you. It costs nothing and it does not hold the car. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. You decide: approve and pay, or let it go. No charge either way until you approve.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
