How booking works

You begin by requesting a car for your dates; the request is free. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Before pickup

You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. A credit card in your name is needed, except on cars marked "no credit card needed", which take debit.

The CarmaCars Protection Plan is priced in your offer by car and driver age, as one of three options for damage to the car. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.
