Car service: the 2017 Tesla Model X
Here is the 2017 Tesla Model X from the angle of someone searching for car service. Chauffeur bookings are by the hour, two hours minimum; send a request and we reply with the vehicle we can offer and the price.
Under the hood
The electric motor with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. Being electric, it is quiet and quick from a stop, and it charges at home, at work or at public chargers. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.
It uses 23.3 kWh per 100 km, so 300 km takes about 70 kWh of charge. On paper it goes 475 km between charges, less in winter. That works out to about $3.50 per 100 km at our price setting.
Best uses
It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.
Inside and out
Its SUV body gives a high seating position and an easy load height.
Getting one from us
Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Your offer shows the delivery fee if you want the car brought to you.
How booking works
Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. An offer follows, with the car we confirm and the full price for your dates. Approve the offer to book the car. That is the moment you pay, not before.
Every car lists its own deposit and the kilometres included each day. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.
The rules, briefly
You need to be 18 or older at pickup, with an Ontario G2 or G licence valid for the whole rental. Under 26? You can rent, with a daily young driver fee shown on the car's page. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.
Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
Over to you
Send a request with your dates, and we will come back with an offer.
