Specs, explained

Power: the 1.8L 4-cylinder; drive: front-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 23 litres, from its 7.6 L/100 km rating. The fuel for 100 km comes to about $11.78 at our price setting.

Space and size

As a mid-size car, it has a closed trunk that keeps luggage out of sight. The EPA measures its luggage space at 368 litres, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

A good match for

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Renting it

Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. Meanwhile, 7 similar cars are listed below. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates.

The steps

Start with a request. Choose the car, the pickup time and the return time, and send it without paying anything. Then we send an offer. The offer shows the price before 13% HST and the deposit. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.

Driver requirements

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. The payment card and the licence must match the driver's name.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. We verify licences and identity for every renter, with no exceptions.
