The A4 and Java

Around Java you will also find New Hope, Roeton and Frisco.

The numbers in plain words

Under the hood: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo and front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

A combined rating of 7.8 L/100 km works out to about 23 litres per 300 km. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $13.65.

Who rents the A4

It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town. It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month.

Room inside

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The trunk holds 368 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Getting one from us

None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.

Driver requirements

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.

Third-party liability comes with every rate. For the car itself: your own policy with OPCF 27, a card that covers rentals, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits differ by car. Each car's page shows its amount. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

What to expect when you book

You choose a car and your dates online and send a request. Sending it costs nothing. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. You pay when you approve, and only then.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. With 2 hours of notice or more, a same-day pickup can work when the car is free.
