Specs, explained

The powertrain to know here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo, with front-wheel drive. The turbo gives a small engine the pull of a bigger one when you need it. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.

Combined fuel use is 7.9 L/100 km: about 24 litres for 300 km. A 300 km round trip costs roughly $41.49 at our price setting.

Room inside

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. It is 4.76 m from end to end. Check the size of a tight parking spot. Luggage space is rated at 368 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Renting this car

A request for your dates gets you an offer from a person. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one.

What we need from you

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

What to expect when you book

You request the car online with your dates, and nothing is charged to send it. You receive an offer with the price, the deposit and what is included. Payment happens only after you accept the offer.

Each car page lists what is included and what costs extra. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.
