Engine and fuel

The powertrain here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive and a 7-speed automatic. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 25 litres, from its 8.3 L/100 km rating. Expect about $12.87 per 100 km at our price setting.

Inside and out

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. The EPA lists 340 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

A good match for

It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car. It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next.

Rent this car

Tell us your dates and we check this car or the closest match. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.

Requirements

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. If you are under 26, expect a young driver fee each day; there is no upper age limit. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Liability to other people is included in every rate. For the car itself, pick your own policy (OPCF 27), a card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.

From your dates to the handover

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. You then get an offer from us with the car, the dates and the total before tax. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Each listing shows the daily, weekly and monthly rate of that car. The monthly rate covers a booking of up to 365 days. Last-minute plans are fine with at least 2 hours of notice.

Still deciding?

Request a car, read the offer, and decide. That is the whole process.
