Renting: the basics

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. Bring the card in your name that paid for the booking.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.

Getting the car booked
