Who can rent

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. Age fees stop at 26: younger drivers pay a daily young driver fee. Debit works on cars marked "no credit card needed"; the others take a credit card.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is never taken when you book; it comes about 1 hour before pickup. The checks are the same for everyone: licence, identity and the agreement.
