Reading the spec sheet

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, paired with a 7-speed automatic, drives it. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

At 8.3 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 25 litres of fuel. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.87 at our price setting.

Good uses for the A4

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.

How big it is

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Can I rent it?

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Collect the car at our location for free, or have it delivered.

The booking steps

You start by asking: a car, a start time, an end time. Asking is free. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

A car's page shows the deposit and the kilometres included each day. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

Licence, age and card

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. From 26, no age fee applies; below it, a daily young driver fee does. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Before confirming, we verify the licence and identity of each driver.
