Engine and fuel

It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

By the EPA's combined rating of 8.3 L/100 km, 300 km takes about 25 litres. That works out to about $12.87 per 100 km at our price setting.

What the A4 is like

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. Luggage space is 340 litres, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

A good match for

It suits stop-and-go driving and rideshare or delivery work. It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends.

Driver requirements

Ontario G2 or G licence holders aged 18 and up can request a car. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. A card in your name pays for the rental, and we see it with your licence at pickup.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is taken about 1 hour before pickup, never when you book. We check every driver; it takes a few minutes and protects everyone.

From request to keys

First, a request: the car you like, when you need it, and where. No payment yet. The offer we send lists the car we confirm and the full price. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

Each car shows its rate for a day, a weekend day, a week and a month. A booking can be a single day or up to 365 days. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.
