Specs, explained

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid; drive: all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

It is rated at 8.3 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 25 litres. A 300 km weekend costs about $38.61 in energy at our price setting.

Who rents the A4

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits commuters, couples and business trips.

Size and space

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Rent this car

Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. We bring the car to your address in the Toronto area, or you collect it for free.

The rules, briefly

You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. A young driver fee applies each day for drivers under 26. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

Three options cover damage to the car: OPCF 27 on your auto policy, a credit card with rental car benefits, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.

Your booking, in three steps

A short online request with the car and your times gets things moving, at no cost. Next comes our offer, with the confirmed car and every charge on one page. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. From 7 days, the weekly rate takes over. Short notice is fine: 2 hours is the minimum before a pickup.
