The A4 and Appleton

Places around Appleton include Appleton Acres, Appleton Glen and Glen Kyle.

Under the hood

It runs the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

A combined rating of 8.3 L/100 km works out to about 25 litres per 300 km. In energy, every 100 km costs about $12.87 at our price setting.

Who the A4 suits

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

Inside and out

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Luggage space is 340 litres, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Can I rent it?

Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Pick it up from us for free, or have it brought to you.

Renting: the basics

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. Your licence and the card you paid with come with you to the pickup.

Third-party liability is in the rate; for the car, bring OPCF 27, use your card's benefit, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

Your request, our offer, your keys

Pick the car and the dates that suit you, then send a request. There is no payment at that point. We review it and reply with an offer that shows the whole price, delivery included when you asked for it. Say yes to the offer and pay; that is when the booking is made.

The car pages show each car's rates, deposit and kilometres included. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
