What the specs mean

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid with all-wheel drive is the powertrain to look at. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

It is rated at 8.3 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 25 litres. Every 100 km costs about $12.87 in fuel at our price setting.

How big it is

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Best uses

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits anyone who needs a car for a few days, a week or a month without buying one.

Can I rent it?

Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Your request can name this exact car; the offer confirms what we can give you. There is no exact match in our fleet today. Request it and we search for one, or take a similar car. Delivery is priced by distance in your offer, and pickup from us is free.

What we ask of drivers

Every driver must be 18 or older with an Ontario G2 or G licence. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. We need to see the card and the licence of the person renting.

You pick how damage to the car is handled before pickup: OPCF 27, a credit card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is taken shortly before pickup, and the balance comes back after the return. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

From request to keys

Choose a car, set the pickup and return times, and send the request. You pay nothing to ask. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. Pay when you approve, not a minute before.

You can see every car's calendar and rates before you send anything. Bookings run from one day up to 365 days at a time. Pickups need at least 2 hours of notice from the time you send the request.
