What the specs mean

The powertrain to know here is the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

For 300 km of mixed driving, expect about 25 litres, from its 8.3 L/100 km rating. In money, 1,000 km costs about $128.70 at our price setting.

Best uses

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits stop-and-go driving and rideshare or delivery work.

What the A4 is like

Being a compact car, it is easy to park and comfortable on longer drives. The EPA lists 340 litres for luggage, roughly about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Renting this car

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. If you want this one, say so in the request; we confirm before you pay. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.

Booking in plain terms

The first step is a free request: which car, which dates, and how you want to get it. We answer with a written offer: the car, the dates, the price and the deposit. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.

Compare cars side by side by opening their pages. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

What we ask of drivers

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. Young drivers, under 26, can rent too, with a fee for each day. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Before pickup, choose how damage to the car is handled: your auto policy (OPCF 27), your credit card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. The deposit is separate from the rental price and is returned after the rental. If another person will drive, add them; they go through the same check.

One more step

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
