Coldstream and the A4

Close by are North Shore, Nightingale and Linganore, each with its own page.

Under the hood

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Rated at 8.3 L/100 km combined, it needs around 25 litres for a 300 km round trip. A 300 km weekend costs about $38.61 in energy at our price setting.

What the A4 is like

A car body like this keeps the weight low, so it feels settled on the highway. For luggage, 340 litres means about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

When the A4 makes sense

It suits commuters, couples and business trips. It suits stop-and-go driving and rideshare or delivery work.

Renting it

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. We deliver across the Toronto area, or you collect the car from our location for free.

Who qualifies

An Ontario G2 or G licence and an age of 18 or more: that is where it starts. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. A card in the driver's own name is required at the handover.

If your own policy has OPCF 27 or your card covers rental cars, use that; otherwise add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.

The booking steps

Nothing to pay up front: the first step is simply a request. Our offer spells out the rate, the delivery fee if any, and the deposit. You pay when you approve, and only then.

The photos on a car's page are of that car. Book by the week from 7 days, or by the month up to 365 days. Requests for later the same day work when there are at least 2 hours to spare.

Still deciding?

Questions, dates or both: put them in a request and we answer.
