Reading the spec sheet

It is powered by the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, with all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

It is rated at 8.3 L/100 km combined; 300 km takes about 25 litres. Driving 300 km costs roughly $38.61 at our price setting.

Is it right for your trip?

It suits a stretch between cars, by the week or the month. It suits stop-and-go driving and rideshare or delivery work.

Practical details

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Your booking, in three steps

To get started, send a request for the car and dates. You are not charged for it. If the car is free, you get an offer with the full price; if not, we suggest another car. The car is yours for those dates once you approve and pay the offer.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. From 7 days, the weekly rate applies; up to 365 days, a trip never costs more than the monthly rate. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.

Who can rent

The minimum age is 18, and the licence must be an Ontario G2 or G, valid for the whole trip. The young driver fee covers drivers under 26; older drivers pay no age fee. At pickup, have your original licence and the payment card ready.

Third-party liability is part of every rate, and damage to the car is handled by OPCF 27, a card benefit or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. We take the deposit shortly before pickup and return it after the car comes back. Each renter is checked the same way, before the booking is confirmed.
