What the specs mean

Power: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid; drive: all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive helps when pulling away on snow; braking and steering still depend on the tires.

Plan on about 25 litres per 300 km; the combined rating is 8.3 L/100 km. At our price setting, it costs about $12.87 to drive 100 km.

Practical details

It is a straightforward car to drive, park and live with. EPA lists 340 litres of luggage space, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Good uses for the A4

It suits a stretch of weeks between selling one car and buying the next. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

In our fleet

Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer. We deliver around Toronto; pickup at our location is free.

How to book

Send the request with your dates first; no money changes hands at that stage. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. The booking is confirmed when you approve the offer and pay it.

You can check any car's calendar before you send a request. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Plan for at least 2 hours between sending the request and picking up the car.

What we need from you

At pickup you must be 18 or older and carry your original G2 or G licence. Each day of the rental carries a young driver fee if a driver is under 26. Cars marked "no credit card needed" accept a debit card in your name; the others need a credit card.

Damage to the car is handled one of three ways: OPCF 27 on your policy, a credit card's rental car benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Expect a deposit before every rental; its amount is set by the car. Each extra driver is checked the same way and signs the rental agreement.
