Car subscription: 2021 Audi A4 Technik in Sharpes

The 2021 Audi A4 Technik: Car subscription

If a car by the month is the plan, the 2021 Audi A4 Technik is worth a look; here is why. There is no long contract: stop at the end of any booking. One booking runs up to 365 days and renews with a new agreement.

Sharpes and the A4

Places around Sharpes include Tradewind Estates Mobile Home Park, Sunlake Estates Mobile Home Park and Williams Point.

Engine and fuel

Power comes from the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid, driving through a 7-speed automatic. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Rated at 8.3 L/100 km combined, it needs around 25 litres for a 300 km round trip. Per 100 km, plan on roughly $12.87.

Space, size and seats

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. EPA lists 340 litres of luggage space, enough for about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Who it is for

It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else. Its all-wheel drive suits winter roads and trips to ski country.

Renting this car

This exact car is not in our fleet at the moment; a request asks us to look for one. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below. Ask for your dates, and we reply with what we can offer. The handover is in person, at your address or at our location.

How it works

You request the car online with your dates, and nothing is charged to send it. You get an offer that says exactly what the rental costs before tax. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Requests need at least 2 hours of notice before the pickup time.

Rules for renters

Renters must be at least 18 and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence. A daily young driver fee applies to drivers under 26, with no maximum age. Your original licence, not a photo, comes with you to the handover.

Liability to others is in the rate. Damage to the car is handled by your policy (OPCF 27), your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan, priced in your offer. The deposit is released after the return, once the car is checked. A quick licence and identity check happens before we confirm any booking.
