Renting the 2021 Audi A4 Technik

The A4 and Unity

Cherokee, Abbotsford and Spencer are the closest places to Unity on our list.

Engine and fuel

Under the hood: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid and all-wheel drive. It is a hybrid: the battery charges itself as you drive and brake, so there is nothing to plug in. All-wheel drive sends power to all four wheels, which helps on snow and wet roads; good tires still matter most.

A combined rating of 8.3 L/100 km works out to about 25 litres per 300 km. Every 100 km costs about $12.87 in fuel at our price setting.

Practical details

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. The trunk holds 340 litres by the EPA's count: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

A good match for

It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy. It suits visitors who want a familiar car for a week in town.

Getting the car booked

Open a car to see its photos, rates, deposit and kilometres included. One booking runs up to 365 days, and a longer stay renews with a new agreement. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

Before you rent

Our minimum age is 18; an Ontario G2 or G licence is required. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. You show your original licence and your card when we hand you the keys.

Choose before pickup how damage to the car is handled: your policy with OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
