A note on Ruby

We have no location in Ruby; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 469 km away. If you need it in Ruby itself, send a request and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

Other places near Ruby: Elliot Mobile Home Park, Glenerie Lake Park and Mount Marion Park.

What the specs mean

Under the hood: the 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo hybrid and all-wheel drive. As a hybrid, it does best in stop-and-go traffic, where the electric motor does more of the work. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

Expect about 25 litres for every 300 km, going by its 8.2 L/100 km combined rating. For 1,000 km, budget about $127.10 at our price setting.

How big it is

As a compact car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Luggage space is rated at 340 litres: about two large suitcases and a few soft bags.

Good uses for the A4

It suits someone whose own car is in the shop for a while. It suits a work trip where a reliable car matters more than anything else.

Can I rent it?

We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are below if you need one sooner. Ask for this exact car in your request, and we tell you what we can offer.

Driver requirements

Every driver needs an Ontario G2 or G licence and must be 18 or older. Drivers below 26 pay a fee each day of the rental, and older drivers pay none. Payment is by a card in your name, shown with your licence at pickup.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Deposits are listed car by car, so you can compare before you ask. We check your licence and identity before we confirm, the same way for every renter.

How renting with us works

Requests are free: choose a car, add your dates, and send it. We confirm and price it, and the offer arrives in your account and by email. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

The rates you see on a car's page are the rates in your offer. A rental of 7 days or longer is priced at the weekly rate. Same-day requests are fine with at least 2 hours of notice, when the car is free.

When you know your dates

Ready? Request the car. If you change your mind before approving the offer, nothing is charged.
