Getting the car booked

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. A person replies with an offer priced for your dates, not an estimate. Offers stay open for 24 hours. Approve one and pay to book the car.

Each car has its own page with its photos, its rates and its calendar. Trips of 7 days or more use the weekly rate, and shorter trips never cost more than it. Leave at least 2 hours between your request and the pickup.

What we ask of drivers

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. The card must be in the driver's name, and we check it with the licence in person.

Third-party liability is included in the rate. For damage to the car, you choose one of three options before pickup. There is a deposit for each rental, taken shortly before pickup rather than at booking. Everyone who will drive signs the agreement after the licence check.
