Under the hood
Under the hood: the 3.1L 6-cylinder and front-wheel drive. It calls for premium gas, which costs more a litre than regular. With front-wheel drive, the weight of the engine sits over the driven wheels, which helps in winter.
A combined rating of 11.2 L/100 km works out to about 34 litres per 300 km. Every 100 km costs about $19.60 in fuel at our price setting.
Good uses for the A6
It suits client visits, weddings and special weekends. It suits a family trip where everyone and everything fits in one car.
What to expect from the A6
As a mid-size car, it is easy to drive and park in the city. Its 453 litres of luggage space fit a family's bags for a long weekend.
Renting it
Want a car for specific dates? Put them in the request and we check. We have none on the site right now. Send a request for this exact car and we look for one for your dates. Similar cars are listed below if you need one now. We meet you with the car at the time we confirm, at your address or ours.
How to book
Pick your car, enter your dates and send the request. That is all you do at first, and it is free. We confirm the details and send an offer. It lists the rental, any delivery and any add-ons. Only an approved, paid offer books the car.
Each car's calendar shows the days it is already booked. Weekly pricing starts at 7 days, and a trip never costs more than that rate for a week. We need at least 2 hours of notice before a pickup.
Before pickup
You need an Ontario G2 or G licence, valid for the whole rental, and to be 18 or older. No maximum age, and a daily fee only for drivers under 26. At the handover we check your licence and the card in your name.
Every rate includes liability to others. Damage to the car is covered by your choice: OPCF 27, your card's rental benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit applies to every rental. It is shown on the car's page and taken about 1 hour before pickup. Additional drivers can be added; each one meets the same rules and signs the agreement.
Still deciding?
Not sure which car? Describe the trip in your request and we will suggest one.
