Renting for Ruby

We have no location in Ruby; CarmaCars rents from Toronto, about 943 km away. If you are starting from Toronto, rent the car here and drive it to Ruby.

Next door to Ruby are Huron, Arnold and Holcombe.

What the specs mean

The 2.0L 4-cylinder turbo is what moves it, with all-wheel drive. It runs on regular gas. With all-wheel drive, it pulls away more surely on slippery roads, though it does not stop any shorter.

At 9.3 L/100 km combined, a 300 km drive takes roughly 28 litres of fuel. Every 100 km costs about $14.42 in fuel at our price setting.

Who it is for

It suits a weekend away when the train does not reach where you are going. It suits people curious about the model who want to drive it before they buy.

What the Q3 is like

The higher seat of a compact SUV gives a good view of the road in traffic. The EPA lists 481 litres for luggage, roughly a family's bags for a long weekend.

Getting one from us

Put this car and your dates in a request, and we reply with an offer. None in our fleet right now; ask and we look for one for your dates. Meanwhile, 6 similar cars are listed below.

The steps

All you send at first is a request with the car and the dates, and it is free. We look at the request and send back an offer with the price for your exact dates. Your card is charged only when you approve the offer.

Rates are set car by car and shown on each car's page. For longer stays, each booking of up to 365 days renews with a new agreement. Book ahead if you can; 2 hours is the shortest notice we take.

What to have ready

Drivers need to be 18 or over, holding an Ontario G2 or G licence for the whole rental. We accept young drivers; those under 26 pay a daily fee. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Each car's deposit is listed on its page, so you know it before you ask. Every renter goes through the same check of licence and identity before the car is confirmed.

Ready when you are

A request costs nothing, and the offer tells you everything.
