Booking in plain terms

Requests come first at CarmaCars. You name the car and the dates, and we take it from there. A real person reviews your request and sends an offer with the price spelled out. Nothing is charged until you approve it and pay.

The calendar on each car's page helps you pick dates that work. Longer trips cost less a day: the weekly rate starts at 7 days. The minimum notice is 2 hours, so an afternoon pickup can be requested in the morning.

What we ask of drivers

From age 18, with an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can send a request. Drivers under 26 pay a young driver fee for each day, shown on each car's page. The card you pay with must be yours, and you bring it to the handover.

Every rate includes third-party liability. The car itself needs one of three options: OPCF 27, a card benefit, or the CarmaCars Protection Plan. Your deposit is held for the rental and released after the car comes back and is checked. Every driver's licence and identity are checked before we confirm.
