Booking in plain terms

Every booking starts as a request: the car, the dates and where you want it. Nothing is charged to send one. A staff member reads the request and sends the offer. We reply within 2 hours. If you approve, you pay and the car is yours for those dates.

Each car shows its own extra kilometre rate, so nothing surprises you later. The longer the booking, the lower the rate a day tends to be. Allow 2 hours or more between your request and the pickup time.

What we check

If you are 18 or over and hold an Ontario G2 or G licence, you can rent. Young drivers are welcome: a daily fee applies under 26. Bring a card in your name; a card in someone else's name cannot be used.

For damage to the car itself, have your own policy (OPCF 27), a credit card with rental car coverage, or add the CarmaCars Protection Plan. A deposit is held for every rental, about 1 hour before you get the car. We confirm each driver's licence and identity the same way.
